The Avani Shirt is a classic summer design that features a deep v neck, sleek and seamless edgings around the armholes and the v neck. It is created using a blend of wool, silk and ramie yarn which is extremely soft and gives it a beautiful drape and airy feel. The shirt is created from the top down and it is worked in stockinette stitch all the way through. Approximately 5 to 10 cm / 2” to 4” of positive ease is built in to the pattern, chose your size based on how much ease you prefer.

Gauge
26 stitches by 34 rows =10 x 10 cm / 4” x 4” using size US 5 / 3.75 mm needles in stockinette stitch after washing and blocking. 
 
Yarn
Avani Shirt is worked using fingering weight yarn 150, (150), 150, (200), 200, (250), 250, (275), 275 grams of Pascuali “Pinta”, 50 grams = 212 meters / 232 yards. (rough estimate -to be confirmed after testing).
